slightly different dillemma.
My ex after 8 years of divorce provided a confident address and assumed I lived with a girlfriend at the time. That was wrong. Thankfully, I am still on good terms and I can prove I was not there, through her old records.
Not sure that is such a good idea - after all if you are on good terms, then there's no reason to assume she would not pass on post
