CSA incomplete records provided

Hi again , i have followed the advice kindly offered by members of the forum and applied for copies of all data held on me by the CSA as they are applying for a liability order against me, the massive wad of paperwork they have supplied me(hundreds of pages no less) appears to be incomplete to say the least, i have copies of letters i recieved from them over the past few years that seem not to be included in the data they have provided me, my question is if they have missed out letters i know about what else have they 'omitted' from the records i now hold and if they are indeed incomplete how are they of any use to me? Im disabled and on incap/dla with no assets and by there own admission they cannot deduct money from said benefits by law even though i have offered to pay a few pounds weekly from my benefit which seems to make no difference to there attitude at all, my other query is regarding parenthood, i have recently bumped into some old aquaintances who frequented the house we used to share when we were married (over 20 years ago) , jokes aside im now pretty convinced that our relationship was far from monogamous and there was a lot of monkey business going on behind my back which gives me doubts as to who the actual father of the child was, is it to late to apply for a parenthood test now?(no court liability order has been granted as yet) and if so what is the procedure? Thanks in advance for all he helpfull advice so far, keep up the good work please, and have a good bank holiday weekend.

It is too late to test for parenthood.

Though other experts can answer the other questions

Write back to Data Protection Unit giving them 14 days to supply all other information they hold in relation to your case, if no satisfaction inform the ICO.

We have now sent the CSA 4 letters expressing our disappointment on still not receiving a complete DP File (they have lost our bank statements), so 7 months from the original DP legal deadline we have involved ICO for a 2nd time

ICO is the Information Commissioner's Office who are the Government Dept responsible for all data (phone records, paper records and computer records) held. They are independent from other departments. With CSA (CMEC is their new name), always copy any correspondence to your MP and tell CSA that you are doing this. That gives your case priority in their eyes. You can also ask CSA to get ICE involved (think it stands for independent case examiner) who can go through your case with a fine tooth comb. Good luck

Independent Case Examiner will look at complaint cases with CSA , but only if you have had a final response from CSA or if complaint not resolved within acceptable timeframe.

Think you nay need to give CSA 1 chance to come up with personal information before ICE will accept case, but if ICE do get involved and accept case they can recommend compensation ICO do not. You can also write to the CEO CSA stating that you require financial redress on the grounds of maladministration, apparently they normally offer around £50 and hope you will 'go away'. We have not approached CEO for financial redress due to incomplete DP Files as our case is grossly incorrect in other areas, so will be hitting them for 'much larger' redress for a sequence of incompetencies and errors, but that's another story.

Mr Green Genes is expert on claiming financial redress from CSA, PM him
