There's a light at the end of the tunnel!!

Well, it looks like our fight may soon be over!! The last couple of days have been a bit of a whirlwind in all honesty!!

On Wednesday I had a complete emotional breakdown cos yet again the DEO didn't have enough protected income leaving us about £250 short of what we need to get through the month. I'd had enough and figured that they weren't going to break me, and I had to fight for the sake of my 2 kids!!

Tried ringing the CSA to get a recorded message saying the building had been evacuated!! I got a number directly for the washington complaints team (they are currently dealing with our huge complaint) so rang them to find out what was going on!!

By the end of Wednesday, I had a phonecall from the parliamentary office in Falkirk (after getting my MP to contact them 2 weeks ago), advising me what was going to happen, and then yesterday, DH had a phonecall from his payroll department telling him that the DEO has now been removed for next month!!

The gentleman in Falkirk is looking to refund us anything we've overpaid, and will also be addressing the issue of compensation for both the trouble they've caused us, and my decline in mental health! The case is now closed, and we are awaiting a breakdown of any arrears owed to the Secretary of State.

I'm so relieved its all nearly over. If it wasn't for the advice I've been given here and read on here, I'm sure I'd still have been running against a brick wall! Thank you everyone for all your help and support, its been brilliant!!

Hope everyone else gets a resolution soon to their problems, and I hope to stay around and offer support to others where I can.

Ellie
