Traveling For Work To Birmingham From Stoke On Trent ? Cheaper RailFares

Options
Hey,
I'm just relocating with my partner to Stoke-On-Trent due to a job relocation, but I am keeping my job in Birmingham in the Jewellery Quarter so I need a Season Ticket to travel from Stoke-On-Trent Station To Birmingham New St But with having a mortgage soon i cannot afford the £800 for 3 months that national rail charge? is there any cheaper options out there.
Please Help :(

Thank You

Via trainline website you can buy advance single fares £5.50 each way (£11 per day/£55 per week). You would have to book these on release 12 weeks ahead as commuter times sell quickly.

In short term a monthly ticket costs £248.90 or a 7 day ticket costs £64.80. There doesn't seem to be any great deals to be had. Cross County only has special offers on the longer route of Manchester to Birmingham.

Is it any cheaper for you to get the bus think it's the 101 to Stafford, which stops outside the train station, then get the train from there??
