Bunny, every so often you will get someone who disagrees with what you say. Then you get a PM saying "You do this and all these newbies/lurkers don't like it. I know what they do and don't like because I can read all of their minds with the power of my magic underarm hair."
What they actually mean is that they don't like what you're saying (for whatever reason - don't assume it's anywhere near rational) but they don't have the courage to say that. Because you'd then question their position and they'd have to defend what is a mere fact of one person's opinion.
If they are so good at knowing what "people" like (i.e. able to distill the entirity of the human populations wants and needs into a single set of topics), then they can start the chat thread and act as a guide for us poor hapless snidey folk who can only screw up under the God-like power of their divine omnipotence (and magic underarm hair).
Thanks Zed. I hope you're right, I feel awful thinking I may have upset anyone. This place is a haven for me, a place I can be more honest than pretty much anywhere else and I couldn't bear to think I was putting anyone off.
So, again, please accept my heartfelt apologies.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

You're not putting anyone off - that was just a hook to get you thinking emotionally rather than analysing it logically. It's the equivalent of politicians/charities etc going on about kids.Bunnyinthelights wrote: »So, again, please accept my heartfelt apologies.
Don't apologise for being you. If people don't like my posts then they can go here and add me to their ignore list. And similarly for anybody."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
