That's lovely Bookie.
I know of an older couple, 70s, who were both widowed and now they've fallen in love. They hold hands and they are so sweet together. I think it's lovely that they've found someone. No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

Do you ever have those moments, where you remember something really important?
I once did mid-way, and made the mistake of mentioning it :rotfl:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

:grouphug: Sorry hunny - it's so sad when you realise you have to let something go like that.
The frustrating thing about Dave is that I think he did love me, in his own messed up way. Even as little as a fortnight ago, when he was here, it wasn't all wild passion - we sat curled up on the sofa for hours just kissing and looking into each others eyes, and sometimes talking but sometimes not saying anything, just completely comfortable with each other, like it was so right and perfect being together.
I think you can get away with pretending to love someone in some situations (to get what you want), but those very intimate moments aren't really something you can fake.
Silly boy - he threw away something really special."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
I googled another poem I like and wanted to share but it's not on there :-( it's called I Feel by Elizabeth Jennings.Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0
