The problem with your average pellets is that they don't just kill the slugs. They also kill the hedgehogs and birds that come along and eat them. You can get pellets that just bloat the slugs which stops them eating and also slows them down which makes it easier for the hogs and birds to catch them.All opinions are my own and in no way contain official advice or guidelines.0

Although I tend to agree that wildlife needs to be protected, in the pursuit of the truth I should point out that there is very little evidence of this.The problem with your average pellets is that they don't just kill the slugs. They also kill the hedgehogs and birds that come along and eat them.
Besides, the new organic slug pellets are safe for all wildlife (apparently, I haven't done the tests myself)Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0
