Got a 4gb Sandisk SDHC memory card in Morrisons today for 6 quid! Great price in my eyes!

Yea I'm sure you can use these in camcorders, That's the reason I got one. I havent tried it out with it yet, just have it in my computer at the minute messing around with it lol. You need to make sure the equipment you are putting it into is SDHC compatible - it will have a logo with SDHC. SDHC devices can use ordinary SD cards ie it is backwards compatble, but not the other way round. Of course there are always exceptions when technology is involved.0 -
Looks like a camera problem - the A7 (allegedly) only handles up to 512MB cards (I have much older cameras which are ok with standard SD 2GB cards) - specs about half-way down http://www.thinkcomputers.org/index.php?x=reviews&id=6110
