extra borrowing

i want to borrow 10k on my mortgage for some home improvements,i have 250k equity in my house.can any one tell who have the best deals around at the moment....

    if you have a mortgage you will almoast certainly need to a use the current lender.

    As above! If you have a mortgage on this property you must go to the lender for the cheapest loan. But please be aware this will be a further advance (secured loan).

    Alternatively, you could opt for the unsecured loan route? Ever tried that? Will be cheaper in the long run as in term of interest.
