FREE Energy Saving Plug for Computers

Eaga as part of a Government funded programme are giving away free energy saving plugs to people on benefits.
This plug is specially made for desktop and laptop computers and can inteligently turn off stuff like printers, hard drives and other stuff so the only thing you need to remember is to switch off your computer.
TO GET ONE:
The programme allows only ONE per household and you can get it from the 1st of January 2008 to the 31st of March 2011
You need to be on a means tested benefit to get one (i.e. Jobseekers Allowance, Income Support, etc) but I'm not sure if they do check your benefit papers.
You can call 0800953 0033 and quote reference number:N06FUL-PD or go to eaga.com/powerdown
Hope this helped

Website says the plug offer is now closed?
But they're still offering shower smart gadgets.0 -
Also the Powerdown does not work with laptops. It works by sensing the power drop from turning a computer off. A laptop continues to drain power to charge the battery.
I got my shower smart today. Will see if the shower is good enough in the morning.0
