How do the CSA verify whether a child (age 16) is leaving school?
The reason I ask is my Husbands ex lied about this to them with his elder children and they just took her word for it and overpaid for years.
We were really looking for some official way to prove that she has left school that they would take notice of.
Many thanks
Hilary

Can you ask them to check to see if child benefit is still being paid?

Another thought - could the school confirm they have left? Although that might not be good enough as the child could be registered at a college for further education.

I think that the CSA should provide proof of FE. It is too easy for people to sign up for courses (or say they are) to keep the cash cow churning!
And when you do ask for proof of CB being paid, you have to wait whilst they talk to another dept who has that access...... whole system is a joke!0
