If no stock in Wilkos, I got 6 x Creme Eggs in Tesco for £1.00 - not as cheap but the Express in town had loads in stock.

Having had my first creme egg in 1974 (my son won 3 at a fayre as a przie by Cadbury's) I can guarantee that now they are about 1/2 as big as they have in the 70s.

This thread is NOT helping the diet!!

On the theme of things not being the same size as they were, the wagon wheels in my day were massive! And I don't think it's perception cos curly wurlies seem about the same size as they were!

1/2 as big? wow! , my first was around 1988 and it hasnt changed size much since then. (only a little as my mouth got bigger, i always eat them whole so i can judge the size quite well!)
    How do you eat yours?!!!
