Heinz beans at Lidl

Just to say Lidl are selling 4 packs of Heinz beans at £1.49.
Still got the Tuna on offer too.

Sainsbugs are selling 4 cans of Branston Beans for £1.19. My wife, a real baked beans snob who previously wouldn't stray from Heinz, actually prefers them.

Thanks although we don't have a Sainsbury's on the island!
Coop sold them for a while and they are quite good .

Yeah thanks, Tesco seems a slightly better deal, just a shame everything else is so expensive . To think we were looking forward to getting Tesco here as well!

Branston beans are the best. Heinz used to be good quality beans 10-15 years ago but they started mixing lower grade beans and thinning the sauce.

Here in N.Ireland they are usually 4 for £1 at various small outlets like SPAR.

We still like Heinz beans tbh.
Branston ones are ok, not the best. They do big beans don't they (as well as normal and sugar free ones) ?
Anyway the thread was just to let people know, you don't have to buy them .

Not at all lol, was not meant to come over as cheeky.
As for having shares in Heinz, I wish lol!

Where we live we only have Tesco, Coop and Lidl, as well as local shops, so we have to take advantage of any fo the deals we get!

Funnily enough, my wife's exact words after completing her first 'Branston Beans sampling session ' was: 'They are like Heinz used to be'.
