Sainsbugs are selling 4 cans of Branston Beans for £1.19. My wife, a real baked beans snob who previously wouldn't stray from Heinz, actually prefers them.Call me Carmine....

Coop sold them for a while and they are quite good

Yeah thanks, Tesco seems a slightly better deal, just a shame everything else is so expensiveVoucherMan wrote: »3 for £1.00 at tesco

Branston beans are the best. Heinz used to be good quality beans 10-15 years ago but they started mixing lower grade beans and thinning the sauce.
Here in N.Ireland they are usually 4 for £1 at various small outlets like SPAR.0 -
We still like Heinz beans tbh.Branston beans are the best. Heinz used to be good quality beans 10-15 years ago but they started mixing lower grade beans and thinning the sauce.

Branston ones are ok, not the best. They do big beans don't they (as well as normal and sugar free ones) ?
Anyway the thread was just to let people know, you don't have to buy them

Funnily enough, my wife's exact words after completing her first 'Branston Beans sampling session
' was: 'They are like Heinz used to be'.
