Our plans so far..

We got engaged in 2007, and decided to go for the big M this summer, and on a budget of £2500. Have already:
Bought my outfit - tea length ivory chiffon dress, and lace cardi, plus headband with pearl flower. Spent £165 so far.
Decided on a registry office. Will get married in tiny ceremony (us and two witnesses) then go away to a posh hotel for a night. We've budgeted £200 for the ceremony and a hotel for a night.
Decided to have a family/friends party on a separate day, and are talking to a local bistro about doing a tapas-type lunch for about 40 of our friends and family. We're hoping to have some sort of cake/dessert included, that we can cut on the day. We're budgeting about £1000 for the lunch, and are hoping we can have a relaxed and leisurely lunch from 12-3.
Have decided not to have traditional wedding invites. Instead we're going to choose some cards from our local gallery and put bright paper inserts with them, inviting people to our 'post-wedding' party.
We've also decided that we'd prefer not to have presents. OH thinks that we just shouldn't mention it, but I'm in favour of an oxfam unlimited or similar gift list.
After the party, we plan to go away for a beach holiday in Europe for a week, and have budgeted £800 for this.
We've budgeted £300 for the rings, but I've already seen one I like for £800 (oops!)
We aren't having any flowers or favours. The venue we like has little jars of flowers and tealights on the tables.
How does this all sound? We're hoping to keep it really low-key and minimum stress. Would welcome any opinions on the budget too.
