Just the job for my treadmill work outs. Thanks, was looking at the Tesco versions (which I think are Bush in disguise) but there were over £2000

yeah i think tesco/asda brands are mass purchased chinese equipment. i consider bush to be the better of the cheap brands if you know what i mean.
had a little look about & still cant find a cheaper equivalent!0 -
The Tesco equivalent is £185 and does look more modern than the Bush one. The general reviews on Argos say the sound is crap but most people are happy as it's a "bedroom" tv for them. I think I'd rig it up to a stereo or sound system if I found it that rubbish. Argos card gets you 6 months interest free so always a bonus!0

I was looking at this one in the Argos catalogue too, but note what you say about the sound quality. My father-in-law is after a 22" TV when he moves into his new flat shortly. He's in his 80s, so needs something that's very easy to use, simple remote control, etc, no complicated menus and planners. Plus a clear picture and sound.
Could anyone recommend anything suitable? Been in looking at the Tesco catlogue as well, but not sure which one would be the best for him.
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks. :ABig thanks to Martin Lewis for helping us start to sort out our finances!!!:A

as for the remote, there is a lot of little buttons on it which will confuse OAP's i think. However, for the price of the tv, its worth paying the 10-15 quid for a universal remote with big buttons!0 -
gone up to £184.99 now0
