I just looked out of the window to see if hubby was on the way back from walking the dog and saw 4 young lads, aged 14-16 ish in next doors garden just about to pinch his motorbike.
My heart was pounding- didnt know what to do so just banged like mad on the window and with that they shot off!!!
What is the world coming too when at 2.30 in the afternoon people just stroll in to gardens and take what they fancy!!!!
My heart is still pounding!!!!

Is your neighbour home? write down what they looked like incase you forget they may try to come back later. At least then ifthey do you can give a positive ID to the police.

It just makes me so mad, when people are struggling to keep their heads above water. Others just think they can steal the things you work hard for. Good on you for stopping them.

blooming heck, it really scares me some days that I have brought 2 boys into this world the way it is. I wish I could just set up a little real life mse village, because so far I have only met nice honest and decent people, and the shops would all have to put great offers on because otherwise none of us would part with our cash!

I would report it to the Police already in case they are currently out and trying to steal something else. If they too have adrenaline pumping and are egging each other on, they might seem undeterred by your intervention and think of it like a challenge to steal something today.

There may be other reports of them today and the Police may already be looking for them, so a further sighting may help.

i would go along with the mse willage we could call it 'mse world ' and it could be a bit like trumpton except we would all be a lot more frugal and live on rubber chicken!!!

My husband had his motorbike stolen a couple of years ago. Trouble was it was too heavy for them and they dumped it at the end of the street. I thought they were probably teenagers, couldn't ride it, but couldn't push it either. Maddening thing was there was damage to the bodywork that we had to pay for. Makes me mad, they do not care how hard you work to get these items.
