    OMG thanks :)

I think I'll still make the trip I might be lucky... :D

Would you be so kind and tell me where/if there are any scanners in those stores? :A

Slough has one in the toy section, one in clothing and one in the world food aisle.

    Addlestone removed them all boohoo!

Staines they used to have one in the clothing but think it has gone - i may be wrong as i too busy wondering around moaning about it being pooh! :rotfl:

egham removed theirs when it got made bigger.

OMG just realised how sad i am - i really do live in Tescos!

Peeps, quick question? Are the laptops marked up as clearance or is there no signs that they are reduced and you just have to ask?

I'm picking my old mother up bless her and we are off to our local store so I just wanted a bit of advice about the laptops before we set off... crazy arent we lol!

Ooops probably better on the other thread!

When I was in tonight, The laptop i got was just on the sale shelf with the dozens of other laptops. I did however see a few staff with Dell boxes at the electrical desk. Most of them which i took to the self scan thing were showing as the stickered price till I found this one which had £399 on it but scanned at £199, Guy wasnt going to give me extra 10% off cos it was display but manager did :) checked it all out and was perfect anyways. :)

Suppose it depends on the staff, some are great and will help you or check the back but some just wont.

    Hope this helps :)
  • No DTD again....but managed to pick up a Razor for £8 (showing £40ish online) and Monopoly Edinburgh edition from £25 to £6 so not a completely wasted trip. This was the Dunf3erlin3 store and they still had a few more Monopoly's left.

don't worry! what's a funny look worth in compare to a REAL bargain(or lots of them!) :rotfl:
I'll be going with a 3 pages long list tomorrow and ask at electrical desk if I have to  I don't care! :p

I usual have everything on my Iphone. Also have this page open when im in-store. Today in 1 store i found myself trooping from the electrical part to around 10 isles away to the nearest self scan machine with 2 laptops in my arms each time lol. Not doing anything wrong just checking prices.

Tesco staff know what your doing cos more than likely they have been in doing exactly the same so I doubt anyone really bothers anymore. Well thats for these cheap electrical deals anyways. Dtds on the other hand are another story all together lol :P

I'm thinking funny looks off security lol or suspicious staff but I suppose we're not doing anything wrong as long as where just checking prices right?
