Hi guys - in an effort to get a bit more wear out of dingy grey work shirts I searched for 'whitening' and came up with the idea of soaking them overnight in bleach then washing them.
This I have done with one (I have two) for comparison purposes. Compared the dingy grey one, the bleached one is much brighter but compared to my new white shirt, it looks almost yellowy.
Of course now I've searched bleach and yellow and found that thick bleach (which is what I used) can do this.
Can I save my work shirt? if so how?
If not, can I do anything with the other dingy grey one to make it white rather than yellow?
Thanks

I guess it's a cotton / nylon or other synthetic fibre mix?
Dylon do an underwear whitening sachet... in the washing powder aisle of the supermarket. Give that a go, chuck in all your greying whites too while you're at it!
All the best,
