Firstly are you sure you want a financial advisor and not a mortage broker? (I ask because you have put your question on the mortgage board.)
What area are you in? Your location is shown as "In fairyland with fluffy pink fairies"!
I don't know any IFA's in fairyland!I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. ?? Maybe I posted on the wrong board - we have come in to some money, enough to pay off our mortgage (leaving £1 owing as advised by our mortgage company) but we want to invest/save/do something with the rest and would appreciate some advice.
When not in fairlyland - I'm in West Sussex

Go to https://www.unbiased.co.uk and put in your postcode. You can also select particular areas of advice you need. The site will then show you the closest few IFAsI am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Claz - tried asking who you suggested - I've either not got many friends (sad eh) or no-one uses a IFA. Seriously, no-one I know has had a good one they would recommend!
