ASDA stores nationwide have limited stock of the Xbox 360 Arcade games console for £97, and Nintendo's DSi handheld for £127. They're selling like the proverbial baked goods, so call ahead at your local ASDA if you want one to save disappointment.

Chances are if you're here you know what you're looking at, but just in case...

Xbox 360 Arcade:

The Xbox Arcade edition is the entry-level version of the console, lacking the hard drive found in higher models, though it's possible to buy one separately should you wish to upgrade (check eBay for a cheapie). It's not completely devoid of storage space though, there's a 256MB memory card for saving games etc.

Aside from that, it's much the same as the pro model, and supports HDMI out for Hi Def tellies (though you'll need to buy a cable separately, and the same goes for the network cable and headset included with the pro).

Nintendo DSi:

Rather than being the next generation of console, with improved graphics etc, the DSi is merely an improved version of the super-popular DS; it's 12% thinner than its predecessor, with a larger brighter screen (which also reduces its battery life somewhat) and 2 built in low-quality cameras. It also has a web browser and music player as standard - features which while available on the DS, require third-party accessories.
