Add the top one (£15.95) to basket
Use promo code r42804 in checkout = £13.56 for the item, plus 99p delivery = £14.55 all in!!!
I bought one of these a few weeks ago sadly missing out on the promo, but it was still a bargain at full price. Works great for me with a standargd 1gb micro sd card and a DS lite. Haven't tested on a DSi.
You can install homebrew, mp3, movies etc and a lot more if you have a look on youtube/google. This can be a VERY moneysaving purchase depending how you use it
edit: I don't really venture into this part of the forum usually, having read the sticky above maybe a board guide needs to move this to the discount codes board?

just to note as far as I am aware the R4 card will only work on the DS /Lite and you need an R4i card for the DSI2007 £1749
2008 £291.99
2009 JanMasscara £7.00 Feb megcabot books x 2 £20 XFactor tkts x 2 £58.00 (couldn't go though as they only phoned on day :-( ) foundation £7.99
total so far for 09 £92.990 -
does this include the 1gb memory card? because you can get the R4 without memory card for £10.95 se link below - and they also have it with either a 1gb card for £15.95 or a 2gb card for £17.95. which is much cheaper.

I have recently purchased a DSi for my daughter. Will the memory card from her old R4 card fit a R4i card? I am very ignorant in these matters!0

Yes. It still takes a a micoSD memory card and the roms are in the same format. You are however perhaps better looking at something like http://www.acekard.com/ - due to the way the dsi can have its firmware updated when it connects to the internet, there are question marks about future upgrades wiping out flash cards which are not able to adapt.
And btw, https://www.dealextreme.com are just about the cheapest for this kind of product. Every time.Who or what was I before you came in to my life
I am not sure0 -
Yes, its difficult to play games like Chrono Trigger reliably when there is no official support. Chrono Trigger's anti-piracy kicks in and performs tests whenever you go through the timewarp portal.
I've not known anyone getting it to work on an R4.

And expensive.
And in the case of the DSTT card at least - if the images are a true representation of the the product - selling fakes.Who or what was I before you came in to my life

The ds flash cards will not work in the dsi, as previous poster said you have to get the new "i" cards eg r4i, ak2i etc.
Got mine from:
nds-cards.co.uk if that's any help.0 -

I can't claim to be an expert on these things, but I do have two "ds-oholics", both now using these "flashcards".
The first one I bought was a DSTT from a seller on Amazon, which worked fine for just one day, then refused to boot and killed the memory card too!
The seller sent me a replacement which has worked ever since without a hitch (must be over three months now). I believe from the pictures of fakes on the DSTT website that both cards were/are genuine.
Because of the initial problem with the first DSTT I decided to look for an alternative card for my second DS addict, which led me to the Acekard2, which was slightly more expensive than the DSTT (only a couple of quid really).
The AK2 has a much nicer interface than the DSTT, and will also play MP3 tracks without needing any specific media software, but with the "official" firmware there were some problems with save files causing hangups - installing the AKAIO firmware cured all those issues, and it has worked perfectly ever since.
Neither card is compatible with the DSi, but like you say there is an AK2i which I think should be an essential buy for anybody with a DSi.0
