Order cut price tyres from this website: https://www.blackcircles.com they deliver the tyres to a convenient local garage (or to your home if you happen to be a mechanic?!) and then you go and get them fitted. I've just ordered mine - I'll let you know how it goes once I've had mine fitted next weekend! NMS

I've got a cutting from AutoExpress 2004 tyre test. Barum came third out of 15 tested and was awarded 'best budget buy'. Beaten only by Vredestein and Goodyear.

Didn't do quite as well in 2005: 11th out of 19. Vredestein won again, followed by their budget brand, Maloya.
