The value ones are not very good imho.
There is normally always either Petits Filous and/or Little Stars on offer in Tesco or the Coop.
Could you buy a big tub of natural ff, take a portion out at a time and put HM fruit puree through it (get fruit cheap near its date) ?Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

I was going to suggest making rice pudding too. My three children (inc an 8mth old) love it. Asda have Whole Earth fruit spread (jam!) rolled back to £1 at the moment if your children wanted fruity rice.
I made a big bowl full on Saturday and kept it in the fridge for a couple of days. I just warmed a portion in the fridge as it was needed.
I buy the Rachels Organic or Yeo Valley Fruit Tumble yoghurts for DD2. they are never on offer so the rice pudding is a cheaper alternative.Nevermind the dog, beware of the kids!0 -

I'm also not sure the large pots of plain fromage frais will be full fat - producers of these foods often seem to think we only want them if we are on a low-fat diet for some reason. I have the same problem tracking down full fat cottage cheese .
Even full fat cottage cheese is is not 'high' fat at 4%, the same with milk - unless you buy jersey - 'full fat' milk is about 4%. To put it in perspective: double cream is about 50% and butter about 80%. All you need to do is add a tablespoon of cream to the 'diet' verson or spread the butter a little thicker...Eat food.
