A&L - just a thought

Hi All

Just had a thought, and wondered if anyone had had any joy with asking Alliance & Leicester MBNA for a reduction in CC interest rate.
I asked them a few months ago and they reduced the rate to 16.9% (from about 24%, I believe).

That's nice of them - but am toying with the idea of requesting a long term/life of balance rate.
I owe £7200 on the card, and have been a customer of theirs for 25 years.

Is it worth a go ?

Views welcome

There's a number you can call for MBNA to see if they can offer you any special deals... I got it from their customer services a few days ago but haven't got round to phoning it so not sure if it'll work.

Let me just go fish it out for you
