Options
Looking for ideas of things to do arond Lisburn area for 3+ year olds.
Been to the usual, Jumping jacks, junction one etc but looking for ideas on classes or anything really that we can do.
Especially for the summer as most things stop for the holidays.

Salto has sessions where parents and toddlers can use the equipment. I haven't gone for a while but it used to be 10-12 on a Wednesday and 11-1 on a Friday. Children love it. Salto have classes for young kids too and a summer scheme.
Also Lisburn Leisureplex have sessions in the pool for young children. It's 10-12 on a sat and sun but it may run during the week too.

There used to be a kids indoor play area beside Eds bar and Grill (near swimming pool) but it closed down recently which was a shame cos it barely even opened! Ive lived in Lisburn all my life and struggle for things to do (Im 20 on Monday) unless you like shopping your stuck lol and thats not always ideal for small kids! What about Wallace Park on a good day?

Oh which reminds me Lisburn Lord Mayors Parade is this Saturday coming 9th May 2009. That would be good fun!

Im running a photography stall there this year as I just opened up my own business in January and we will be offering family portraits on the day at ridiculously low prices lol! They also have funfair rides and games, and a create carnival which all kids love!

Plus Lisburn is celebrating 400 years this year so its going to be special!

If your down in the area (funfair is in Wallace Park) why not call over and dont be shy and say hello - our stall is called Ideal Photography!!

Other than Lord Mayors Parade theres a mini fair thing tomorrow (I know short notice) at banbridge the outlet store. They have baby animals turning up tomorrow with a kids author there as well and loads of kids activities and the shops have unbelievible sales on at the mo - The Jeanery are selling jeans tomoro according the the time they open at 5am so buy jeans at 5am for £5 6am for £6 7am for £7 and so on for the whole day - the earlier you go the cheaper the jeans lol!
Life is what you make it.
