NU Base Rate Tracker - Over paid

When my endowments (3 Norwich Union policy’s) paid out I put the money in a Norwich Union Base Rate Tracker account, while I worked out what I wanted to do with the money.

A yeas or so ago I moved the money else where; and NU paid up the account.
Recently I have had a letter from NU telling me they over paid the interest by £1000 and asked me to make arrangements to pay the £1000 back to them.

Do I have to repay them the £1000; or can I tell them hard luck, I don’t have the money?

Yes. Do the decent, honest, British thing & pay up.

As it happens you do have to pay, but we know you'll do the right thing.
