Hi everyone,
Have any of you used gumtree for selling CD's or DVD's? I am considering selling a few that I have and was wondering what the best way was.

How many ways can there be?
Put advert on gumtree.
Interested party responds.
You take payment and send CD or DVD.
Am I missing something....?
Consider researching on eBay and Amazon. They'll at least give you an idea of what your CDs and DVDs have sold for in the past, and what they're currently selling for. Gumtree won't.0 -
Sorry, I meant the best way of selling (if it wasn't gumtree) rather than the best way of selling within gumtree. sorry for any confusion.:hello: - Proud to be dealing with my debts!:j DFW nerd No. 1011!

Hiya KT - I'd recommend using Music Magpie or CEX first, just to check how much they will give you for the CD's. I think Music Magpie only pay up to £3 maximum per CD, but this may still be more than you would get on Gumtree or elsewhere.0

Have a look at the used prices of CD's and DVD's on Play.com and Amazon. I think you'll be surprised at the prices and they do sell. I managed to sell a 1987 copy of U2's The Joshua Tree this weekend! There are several long threads about selling on Amazon and Play in the Ebay/auctions forum.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Ebay has to be a consideration no? Once you know what you want to get for them, stick them on Ebay with a reserve on them and you've got the biggest market possible0
