I have just come back from Lidl, and they are selling the 4 pack of John West tinned tuna in brine for £2.40. If anyone can find either John West or Princes any cheaper, please let me know.

Thanks Dollywops- I'm always on the look out for cheap tuna deals. It's a staple in our house! My children will eat value brands; but of late, tescos has been really 'fishy'!(tasting and smelling)so they all turned their noses up at it-cat didn't:rolleyes:
Will hot foot it down to Lidl:T0 -
i have had asdas smart price in the past and it tasted alright...thats a good price for jon west though...thank uonwards and upwards0

I've recently bought some 4-pack Princes tuna for £3 from Iceland. It's really bad quality imo but edible. You'll need lots of mayonnaise to stop it being all dry or put it in a sauce. It's not a good option if you're going low fat and just having the tuna (it really tastes really overcooked and dry, you have been warned!)Lurker extraordinaire! no. 4950

The new John West "no drain" tuna knocks the spots off the normal stuff. A must try if you like tuna.0

I agree about the no drain tuna, the 3 pack of John West is £2.50 from Asda.0

Thought it was £2.40 in their brochure but when I went to Lidl for this today it is marked £2.49 in store. Still cheap but will look online and ring the store tomorrow to check price.0
