When I last looked into this it was only 10% deposit required for a buy to let mortgage/non-status mortgage. Anyone know what sort of % it is now? I know it went up but has it come down again yet?
Thanks

Well "ordinary" B2L for people with proof-of-income usually LTV max of 70% or 75% these days . So non-status (I presume you mean no proof of income?)
Dunno if you've ever tried "Google" but is you search on
"buy to let" "non status"
(Those quotes matter..)
- you very quickly get
http://www.mortgagesforbusiness.co.uk/content/BuyToLet/BestBuyTable/NonStatus.aspx
which lists LTV from 50% to 75%. Dunno if that is really achievable..
Cheers!

if the property is self funding you may not need to go down the "non status" route.
why do you feel you need to not prove your income?Happily an ex mortgage broker!0 -
From the link above:
Please be aware due to the cautious approach lenders are currently adopting there are very few non status Buy to let mortgages on offer.

There are NO non status B2L mortgages, on all you need to enter your job and income details, however some are not too concerned with those items.
Minimum deposit on all B2L is 25%, but for the better rates you will need 30-35%.0 -
thanks, just wondered, cheers0
