Hi, this is my very first post on here. I'd really like to join this thread if that's ok. However, could someone explain to me if the NSD's need to be consecutive or can be spread through the month? (sorry if this has already been asked!)
Cheers0 -
I've lost track a little this month, but think I'm up to 4 NSDs, including today and Tuesday.Mortgage-Free Wannabe!

Hiya Lizzie_B, and welcome,
This is my first attempt at the NSD challenge, so i don't know the rules as such, i think you kind of work with whats best for you.
My NSD's are definitely not consecutive, don't think i'd manage too many otherwise, i add mine up as and when they occur through the month. This works for me and keeps me motivated to keep trying, i'd give up if they had to be consecutive.

Hi Lizzie_B, welcome aboard! The rules for this challenge are that you make rules! You don't have to have consecutive NSDs, but you do need to decide what your target is for the month.
Its also up to you what you class as a 'spend'. Some people don't include budgetted spends (ie grocery shopping, kids dinner money etc) but some do. Personally everything other than direct debits and debt payments count as a spend, but again, its up to you!

Thanks ever so much for this. I owe somebody at work a fiver so i'll be starting from Saturday. I'd like to think I could get 10 in this month. My freezer and storecupboards are embarrassingly full and there's only me and my DH to feed so I must try harder!

Hi guys, another spend day for me alas. And I suspect tomorrow will be too but I am definitely improving. I realised like you Lizzie that my store cupboards are very full and I want to use up what's in them and the freezer so even when I am spending it won't be much - I hope!Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far!
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!

Morning All...what a change in the weather yet again! I can see why some peot or other said Britain can have all four seasons in one day! Doesn't help with what to organise for dinner tho does it--can't have a salad with six foot of snow outside
My total is creeping up--think I'm on no 4?--I'll check when I change my siggy.
Welcome Newbies , I'll add you to the list.....we're getting to be a goodly crew sailing on the Good Ship No-Spend, but there's always room for more ship-mates
