Free Sight test and 100 clubcard points

Hi all,
went into my local Tesco Extra in Reading yesterday and they gave me a free full sight test and also put 100 club card points on my card and I didn't even buy anything! - funny thing was, I was just about to go to my local opticians who charge £25.
I think this offer is untill end of May although I can't be certain.

Punksluck, did you go to the one off oxford road? I went there last week and got a free sight test with the points. I was charged £250 for a designer frame and varifocals and they gave me another pair free - best glasses I've ever had!
My old opticans used to charge double that for one pair!0 -
Does anyone know if this is just Reading? I live quite near, but would have to pass 3 other tescos to get there....Do you need it? Yep. Really? Yes! How have you managed for the last 28 years without it? Erm....
