If you build a websites because you like computer programing and add a few adverts. and make a small profit is this classed as a trade? Even if you had no intention of making a profit.

Yes, though if you are talking about a couple of hundred quid a year you are unlikely to find HMRC breathing down your neck anytime soon. But if you are intending to keep doing it then you must register as self employed yes.0
