I wanna update my anti-virus software

I wanna renew my Norton anti-virus software but it's going to cost me £30.

Are there any cheaper alternatives out there does anyone know please? And I'm not at all technically minded so it's got to be something dead easy to install.

Google for AVG antivirus & Spybot search & destroy, these both offer free antivirus software to download.

AVG is excellent, free, up dates itself automatically and the only anti-virus software I have ever used without any problems!

If you haven't already done so, go for AVG.

Anti-vir used to be good. I myself used their software for more than one and half years. But their latest release (ver 7.0) is too buggy.

Avast.com is another free anti-virus which I have used fault free for ages.
