What is the middle bit of the carrot called?

I am dying to know, as I just want to see if anyone sells just the middle bit, prepacked or something like that because it is my favourite bit of the carrot.

The core, I suppose. The best thing for you would be to make soup with the outside bits and keep the innards for munching!
