Hi all,

Don't know if this should be on this one, but didn;t know where to put it  my son has just seen the above game advertised on the asda website for 39.97, but when he rang the store to check if they had some in stock, they said yes they had and it was £45, when he queried this, saying it was advertised on the website for £39.97, they asked the manager and the manager came back with, thats just the way it is  Does anyone have any views on this......

Would love to here your comments

Happy sunday !

Only to say that its not unusual.
PC World have lower www prices than in store prices
as do Dixons Currys etc etc from time to time.

If pushed they will state lower overheads of dispatch from a central wharehouse etc etc.......in reality its because their www prices have to be competitive with other www retailers.

If you look at HMV's website they too advertise at £39.99, but the instore price is a lot higher. Cheapest is usually from the website, with a bit higher instore.
    Waddle you do eh?

Some shops also won't bother price matching their own website either as stated before that shops will argue the fact of higher overheads selling in a shop, if you ordered from PC World's website and go for store pickup option you would get it for the price advertised as on the net providing it is cheaper than the one in the shop

Yes, I ordered from HMV at £35.99, but if you look around, you'll find a £5 off code. £34.99 is about the best you're going to find GRAW at.
