FSA site ( http://www.fsa.gov.uk/tables ) shows the following lenders offering 95% mortgages:

    Abbey 7.09%
    Clydesdale Bank 6.99%
    Nottingham Building Society 6.39%
    Tipton & Coseley 5.99%
    Yorkshire Bank 6.99%

Just be careful as the information on that site can be out of date.

If going direct to lenders, rather than via a broker, double check that they have 95% deals first before doing anything like credit checks.

Thank you, would you recommend going via broker rather than contacting a lender directly?

    Thanks in advance.

If that broker can source all deals, inlcuding direct deals, then yes.

You will probably have to pay a fee for this kind of service though
