That £15 Asda coat...

Did anyone have a go at machine washing it?

Mine is currently in the machine, I figured it was worth a go. No doubt they'll have them again this winter if it comes out only fit for Barbie. Will let you know how it turns out :D

The Black winter one? I've washed mine in the washer about 3 times and it has been fine.

    Good Luck

Excellent! I've put mine on a wool wash, hoping it'll soften it up a bit.

Did you just hang it up to dry? Does it need ironing?

thats worth knowing, i haven't washed mine yet as believe it or not even though it was very cheap i see it as my best coat, so i haven't worn it much. will tell my mum as she has one too.
  • I never thought about washing it, expecting it to go all mis-shapen and creased! So thanks for that, I will give it a go!

Very pleased as it's washed really well, I just hung it on a hanger on the line outside and it's nearly dry. Doesn't look like it'll need ironing :D
