Wouldn't have thought so. You should hot foot it down to the CAB and ring ACAS who will be able to give you an informed opinion.:staradmin5k - 00:27:46:staradmin 10k - 00:57.03:staradminHalf - 02:01:15:staradmin5M - 00:44:07:staradmin0 -
Would suggest you ring your employer before going to CAB/ACAS/MP etc.
Are you sure its not a P46 for the end of a tax year?

Good point - although it's a P60 for the end of the tax year. And they are very quick off the mark with a P60!!!hi i have been on sick leave after being on maternity leave and this morning i have recieved my p45 in the post.

Ultimately, yes - you can be dismissed on the grounds that you are not capable of doing your job. BUT they should have followed the dismissal/disciplinary process and since 6 April, that process has to comply with the ACAS Code of Practice
Read the Guide to see what they should have done.
If they had followed the correct process, do you think they would still have dismissed you?Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac
