Beware promotion on Tyrrells Crisps

We recently bought Two for the Price of One Tyrrells Crisps.
When we got them home we discovered why. The crisps were all burnt, dark brown and disgustingly inedible. Considering these are some of the most expensive crisps on the market I think the promotion was a con.

Hi
I've had Tyrells crisps before and they're normally great so as the previous poster says ring them up and complain.
Can't do any harm to let then try and rectify te problem0 -
I had exactly the same thing - recently bought 2 packs of Tyrrells "Worcester Sauce & Sun-dried Tomato Potato Chips" on a 2-for-1 offer, couldn't taste any flavouring at all on the crisps, just an overpowering taste of grease, as if they had been fried twice. They were disgusting and had to be thrown away.0

Me too - disgusting product. Have tried them twice now. Won't buy them again. Rip off price.0

Yes I found them unpleasant too.
Just proves how easily we can all be conned by fancy up market packaging and price promotions that still turn out to be dearer than our normal purchases.

I would take them back to the supermarket and invite customer service staff to sample. Most well-trained staff wouldn't think twice about refunding for a sub-standard product.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
