Our DS1 is getting married in Pitlochry, September 2010. We are travelling over from Northern Ireland for the wedding and expect to stay for about 3 nights. The Venue is the Atholl Palace and on looking at the cost of the rooms  I feel that maybe we will be staying elsewhere. Can anyone suggest a good bed and breakfast or hotel that would suit our needs. I would be grateful for any help.

Try https://www.visitscotland.com and search for accommodation during the dates you need for the wedding. I had a look and there seems to be plenty of Hotels and B&Bs to choose from.
Pitlochry is lovely, keep meaning to take my kids up there. Not been myself since I was wee.
Have a lovely visit.0 -
Hi! We went to Pitlochry for a wee Autumn break in October last year, stayed at a lovely guest house called Dunmurray Lodge. It`s got to be one of our favourites we`ve stayed in, not just because it was a lovely house and completely spotless but the owners were genuinely lovely people who went the extra mile to make sure everyone had an enjoyable stay. They have a website if you want to look it up and see for yourself. And the Atholl Palace looks like it would be stunning venue for a wedding, I`m sure you`ll all have a beautiful day xxxWhat goes around, comes around......:kisses3:0

Crieff Hydro is well worth checking out. Midweek, termtime, you can get double rooms, DBB for around £85 per night (per room, not per person). Also very good for some R&R before and after. And its a very good hotel, very good food, and excellent lesuire facilities (and if you've wee ones, fabulous for them).
(Weekends are about 50% more than midweek, and school holiday weekends - apply for a mortgage)
Its not bang on the doorstep for pitlochery, but it would make the whole thing a lot more of holiday.0
