Cafedirect mug offer (merged)

The info below is taken from www.cafedirect.co.uk/freemug

To Celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight, we’ve produced a limited edition Cafédirect mug to highlight the relationship between the growers that we work with - and all the people that drink their fine hot drinks.
The Cafédirect mug is designed to show the difference that you make to the lives of growers in developing countries by buying Cafédirect, every time you shop.

Simply hold up your mug with your fingers positioned in the imprints and you’ll see that “the future is in your hands”. On the inside, the message is translated into two of the languages that our growers speak – Swahili and South American Spanish.

We hope you’ll celebrate the changes you make to growers lives every time you drink Cafédirect, Teadirect and Cocodirect from your new mug.

Two proofs of purchases needed from cafedirect products, (coffee, tea & cocoa). :coffee:

it's hardly a freebie; when you can get a mug for 50p, seems absurd to go to such lengths!

You can get the ordinary FairTrade coffee mugs free by collecting two vouchers from the coffee packets. But oddly the rules say "Only one per household" - you would have thought they could let you have a matching pair at least!

If you're buying the products anyway then it's not much hassle, then you only have to go online, fill out form, print & send off, takes about 4 mins!
Plus, it's about supporting Fairtrade not getting a cheap mug!!!

Re. the offer from promo packs linked to 'Fairtrade Fortnight', I've applied for 2 mugs, 1 for my other half & 1 for myself, both at same address, no problems.

We buy their tea and coffee and hot choc, so this will be a "freebie" for us - thanks!

I just bought 1 of their instant coffee jars, but it has no voucher. We don't drink it here so a rare occurance. We buy the tea so will have a look (but have plenty cos went over to PG tips for the tin!). And I weaned myself off the hot choc and now just add a bit of honey to cocoa. My mum is a shareholder in Cafedirect- teeny amount but had more than a year and she's not found out whether its gone up or down!

The jars of coffee have a small red corner on the label that says "one proof of purchase", & as posted by Theodore the boxes of tea have the "one proof of purchase" in the corner.

Thanks, but there's definately not one there. It came with an Ocado delivery so I woulndn't have had a chance to spot the promotion. I'll still give it a go before it ends.
