OK Coupons - both £1.50 and £1 are Blocked in Tesco

Just in case anyone misses it on other threads, thought might be an idea to have this as a separate warning thread. Don't bother buying the Express/Star today - you'll not be able to use the £1.00 in them at Tesco. Nor the £1.50 from Star/New Magazines - this has been blocked also.:mad::mad::mad:

But, may be okay still in other supermarkets, like Waitrose.

That's a great pity as my local store will only take 1 coupon so they have been very handy.Never mind we have had them for a long time.

I had 2 x £1.50 ones. This morning one was accepted and the other would not scan, which was very strange. How has anyone else found trying to redeem these today? Thanks.

Tesco s are a right pain with regards to accepting coupons i feel. They are always changing the goal posts. Never know what to expect when using one. Mind you the other supermarkets are even worse so that doesn t say much for any of them. If they could only see beyond coupons they would realise that they would attract more custom if they accepted coupons as obviously shoppers would go there knowing that they could use them without all the fuss and making people, well me anyway feel like a criminal whose trying to use forged cash, They should concentrate more on catching shoplifters instead of people who are trying to save a small amount of money in these hard times.

I am wondering if you actually bought OK magazine in with your shopping?

That would allow one coupon to work but not a second one - if the powers-that-be at Tesco have set the tills only to allow it if you buy the product.

I am wondering if it's been completely blocked or just set to only work like a Tesco moc - only if you buy OK. Has anyone tried?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
