    Because performances in theatres are ephemeral. Even more so when the "atmosphere" is taken into consideration.

    I have nothing against "remakes" which just take the underlying esscence and do it completely differently - but repeating the same words in the same way is pointless. If I want to hear someone singing "Panic" and trying to sound like Morrissey, I'll put a Morrissey CD on - quiff and all - however this is different... ;)
