apologies, I don't know how to spell Newbie / Newby so bear with me !!
(can I say fresher ? whoops just did ! )
Just had to do this, telling all n sundry about seeing me name on a certain site saying I've won something !!! and only after 2 days into this now !!! :beer: . . . jeez I was jumping around a bit :j, and then thought I'd better check how to get there up there to the "festival" - 400 odd miles away :eek:- and it's cancelled :rotfl:!!! aha ahee ahoo, still the rush from seeing I've won is good ! Thanks MSE, and to all you guys n gals who contribute, thanks for what you've done so far, and thanks for what you do !!

was this the homecoming festival by any chance? poor you. Apparently the coucil refused the license - I mean shouldn't these things be sorted in advance? They must have had at least a little bit of an idea what a festival was going to be like! :mad:
You never know the site you won on might send you something as a goodwill gesture?!
