I got the same telly a year ago, I priced it without the stand but eventually was better off going to John Lewis got the whole lot and 5yr guarantee as well.0

Nellie what sort of price did you get it for?
I have been offered the tv without stand for £495, I know this is a cracking price as a couple of years ago they were a £1500 tv. The one I have been offered is a return but still in it's original box with 1yr warrenty.
I can get a glass stand for £75 that would hold the tv's considerable weight so thats maybe the way to go. Done a lot of searching online to get the proper stand but without success.
Whats your opinion of the tv? I've read alot of reviews and the only thing people can fault it on is the weight other than that it's got 5 stars accross the board.

Got it Feb 05 for £899, everywhere else was over grand, then £160-200 for the warranty. The tele is excellent, agree about the weight its horrendous. We love the TV, no complaints although my mums got the older ZP18 and the picture is slightly sharper but thats a 32", so to be expected really. After a year we still dont regret going up to a 36" from a 32" and the sound is fantastic. That sounds like a good price maybe you could get your own 5yr warranty elsewhere cheaper. On our previous Tosh brought from Allders the tube went after 2 years so we were glad it was covered.0
