help cleaning kitchen sink

Any bright ideas please. I bought a kitchen sink I decided I just couldnt live without. It is a dark grey composite stone type thing. It has a slightly textured surface. The instructions said, 'do not use bleach' but beyond that I cant remember what it said use. I tend to use eco friendly products wherever possible but now the sink is looking stained and I want to clean it without destroying it.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

some boiling water and a tub of bicarb leave it in the sink for a few hours and the stains should just wipe away ,either that or try some sterident0

Try barkeepers friend. It's fairly cheap, a little goes a long way and it is very effective.Sealed pot member 735

thanks all. I've got beyond the washing up liquid, Its what I do all the time but its getting too bad for that. It just seems a shame to spend a fortune on a sink but then you cant clean it. I'll try the bicarb tonight as I have that in the cupboard. What is barkeepers friend? Am I looking for a jar, bottle, liquid, cream or what? just gives me an idea of where to look.
