I sent both my mortgage endowment complaints to Standard Life at the end of January. Communication has been outstanding and both complaints have been dealt with in a clear and professional manner, resulting in a positive outcome - all within six weeks.
WELL DONE!!!
If anyone out there has a complaint with Standard Life, please do not hesitate to act. Time is running out...

I absolutely agree with Nicj's comments about Standard Life. The way my complaint was dealt with cannot be faulted. :T0

:sad: They refused to look at my complaint.
They said they didn't think they had sold it to me, that the company that had (no-one I'd heard of) was probably no longer trading, so tough.
Unlike L & G, who accepted that they might have sold the policy and agreed to a claim. But then calculated I wasn't due compensation. :sad:I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Silvercar, SL are prone to mistakes over the identity of the salesperson, ask for copies of the original apllication and the SIB number of the firm if after 1988.0
