Bridal Underwear

Has anyone got any experience with bridal underwear? I am hoping to go wedding dress shopping next Saturday and am looking bridal underwear.

TBH I don't have a clue where to begin!!

I am small busted ... 36B and would like something to give me a boost and make me look more womanly. But that won't break the bank too much.

What is the best underwear? I was thinking a thong is nice but might not be as comfortable. But I don't want a visable knicker line! :rotfl:

Gee I haven't got a clue! Any recommendations?

What about something like this? It's padded and underwired so might give you a bit of 'boost' - and reasonably priced being from Next. Debenhams or House of Fraser might have something in.

VPL would be dependent on the shape of your dress won't it? If it's quite slim fitting VPL might be a problem, but if it's reasonably full skirted you can wear whatever size pants you want :D

I suppose the main concern will be if it's comfy - it's a long time to spend in front of cameras trying to dislodge a wedgie with no-one noticing :rotfl:

I think the best thing to do is shop around. Go and get measured. I went to M&S and got measured, then went to Debenhams and got measured totally different from M&S. In the end I went with Debenhams. They spent a lot more time with me, giving me different styles of bras and making sure I felt comfortable. I got the Ultimo bridal bra and thong. Cost me £30.50(was on 20% off) for the bra and £15 for the thong. It was dear, but so comfortable and well worth the money.
