HELP!!! Brother in law's birthday but envelope doesn't fit card!!

I really hope someone can help me.

I have got the perfect birthday card for my brother in law and written in it and on the envelope but when I went to put the card in it's about 3mm too small or something silly!!


Not sure if this is the right section to put this in, can anyone help???

Hope someone has some advice, can't afford to go and get another card!

do you have two sheets of a4 paper ?
if so stick one sheet to other just round the edges or staple then put card in then seal and hey presto cheap enevelope

what I have done before is to buy some nice wrapping paper and made an envelope out of that, its quite easy to do especially if you undo the one that doesnt fit so you can see the sort of shape you will need. If it needs to be posted then put the wrapped envelope inside a large posting envelope

3mm? Scissors and cut the card a little. Cut in a straight line though!

steam the glue off the envelope and refold it - there will be enough to cover 3mm shortfall, use Pritt stick to reglue it - he's a bloke he probably won't notice!
