Would be if you could sign up for just one month but minimum subscription is 6 months so costs about £143 before the gift card.

Good deal on the radio times though.

I've subscribed to a similar offer in the past and had no problems cancelling before the end of the 12 month subscription.

Have you ever cancelled after the initial offer? (before you make any further payments)

No I haven't I don't think, I've cancelled after I've made an additional DD payment but they then refunded me for the issues I wouldn't be receiving.

I cancelled last week and this week one didn't arrive as usual today (Tuesday).
I had 10 copies, but will be away next week so cancelled last week in case they charged the £19.99.
So I guess they must stop sending them as soon as you stop the DD.

I think you might still get a copy this week, I have a subscription with them anyway and I didn't get my copy in the post this morning - with it being a Bank Holiday yesterday, I think many people won't get their copies delivered until tomorrow.

They wouldn't know that you had cancelled the DD until they tried to collect it from your bank.

I have done this offer about 4 times now. Always cancelled the DD immediately it shows up on my bank. Always received all of the offer copies and never had any problems.
